The Feast of the Apostle Paul in Incheon

On Sunday, June 28, Metropolitan Ambrose of Korea and Exarch of Japan visited the Parish of the Holy Apostle Paul in the city of Incheon, where he presided at the Divine Liturgy, concelebrating with Protopresbyter Fr. Daniel Na and Deacon Christopher Jonker.

In his homily, the Metropolitan presented the Apostle Paul as a model of a person of prayer for every Christian, reflecting on the Pauline exhortations “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17) and “continue steadfastly in prayer” (Col. 4:2).

Following the Divine Liturgy and the Artoklasia, the entire community shared in a common Agape meal. During the Agape meal, the Metropolitan made mention of the fourth anniversary of the repose of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Soterios, who imitated the Apostle Paul in his life.

He also invited the faithful to participate in the upcoming summer camp programs of the Holy Metropolis and in the weekly Zoom gatherings on the life and teachings of Saint Porphyrios.

Finally, he expressed his gratitude to all those who labored in preparing for the feast.
