On Friday and Saturday, June 16 and 17, 2023, the Metropolitan of Korea and Exarch of Japan Ambrosios made a pastoral visit to Okinawa, Japan.
In the Orthodox church of St. Nicholas, which is located inside the American base, Metropolitan Ambrosios with the participation of about thirty believers and some catechumens performed the Orthros and the divine Liturgy. The congregation was multinational. Everyone participated with emotion because they had been inactive for some time due to the lack of an Orthodox priest.
