On Thursday, October 16, 2025, parishioners from the Orthodox parish of St. Paul in Incheon, led by Mrs. Olympia Kim Young-sook, visited the Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Savior in Gapyeong, where they spent a deeply meaningful time.
The visiting group began its schedule by paying respects at the grave of the late Metropolitan Soterios. They then delivered necessary supplies to the monastery and shared the prayer texts recorded in the book of St. Porphyrios.
In particular, they participated in the Third Hour service and the Supplicatory Canon to the Theotokos. For about an hour, each person practiced the Jesus Prayer in a quiet, comfortable spot, enjoying a moment of spiritual peace and reflection.
All participants unanimously agreed that this monastery visit was spiritually highly beneficial and profoundly meaningful.
