On Monday, September 23, 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholaos of Messogaia and Lavreotiki, accompanied by his Counselor Archimandrite Michael Lioumis, visited the parish of “The Annunciation of the Theotokos” in Busan and had the opportunity to see the Holy Church and the Children’s Nursery of the Parish. They communicated with those who work at the Children’s Nursery and were delighted with the spontaneous expressions of the children and their songs. Later the visitors had lunch with members of the community, which was very hospitably served to them. During lunch, they also had the opportunity to hear touching stories of conversion to Orthodoxy by members of the Parish.

On the morning of Tuesday, September 24, 2024, the guests from Greece were given a tour of Seoul and in the afternoon of the same day, they visited the Parish of St. Paul in the city of Incheon. There they were greeted by the parish priest, Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, Rev. Fr. Daniel Na and his Presbytera Olympia Kim along with members of the parish and had an interesting conversation with them.
The acquaintance of the visitors from Greece with the parishes of the Orthodox Metropolis of Korea continued on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. They visited the city of Jeonju where they saw the newly erected Holy Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos and the Parish Community Centre. They were given a tour by the parish priest Fr. Hilarion Jeong, who also explained the difficulties of erecting the Church and the Community Center in COVID-19.
They then visited the Church of St. Anna at the school premises of the Art school, directed by Fr. Stephanos Hwang, and had an interesting discussion with him and teachers of the School.
