On Sunday, August 6, 2017, Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Savior in Gapyeong with the participation of Fr. Antony Woo, Rev. Roman Kavchak and Deacon Yohan Park.
The festive Divine Liturgy was attended by the campers of the third camp period and believers from various parishes of the Orthodox Diocese in Korea.
After the apostolic and Gospel Readings, Metropolitan Ambrosios delivered a sermon focusing on the transformation that Christ gives to those who follow the command of God the Father: ” listen to Him” and he emphasized the deformation with which the devil “rewards” those who follow his ordinances. By addressing the campers, he urged them always to listen to Christ, in order to become “children of the kingdom of God,” as was the central theme of the Camp.

Prior to the Dismissal, the Metropolitan said that “in this year’s celebration there is an intense absence of Metropolitan Sotirios of Pisidia, the founder of the Holy Monastery”. He conveyed his heartfelt wishes to him on his Name-day and extended his blessings to the congregation.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, in the courtyard of the Holy Monastery, a common meal of love and a short celebration marking the end of the camping season followed.
