This year, too, with the grace of our Lord in all the Parishes, but also in the Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Savior of the Orthodox Metropolis of Korea, the faithful celebrated Holy Week and Easter.
Especially at this year’s Easter, the joy of all was evident in their faces, because due to the lifting of the restrictive measures against Covid-19, all the Holy Services were performed with the presence of many believers, and the procession of the Epitaphios took place outside the Holy churches. On Holy Saturday night and Sunday morning many people participated, and immediately after the Vespers of Love, during which the relevant evangelical passage was read in many languages, an Easter meal was offered to all the faithful.
Great joy and emotion were also experienced by those who participated in the group baptisms, which took place on the Saturday of Lazarus and on Holy Saturday in baptismal Divine Liturgies.
Thank God for all this. May the Risen Lord bestow His Grace and Peace on all people and especially protect the war-torn Ukrainian people. Christ is Risen!
