With the help of God, this year’s cycle of the Salutations to the Theotokos was successfully completed throughout the Orthodox Communities of the Metropolis of Korea. In Seoul particularly, every Friday, Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea officiated the Salutations Service and gave a series of five sermons by which he introduced various means that lead to true repentance.

These five means are the following:

1.  The Word of God.
2.  Memory of death.
3.  Physical as well as spiritual pain.
4.  God’s enlightenment.
5.  The life of St. Peter the Publican as an example of real repentance in action.
