A new Pastoral visit to Japan

From June 14 to 17, 2025, Metropolitan Ambrosios of Korea and Exarch of Japan made a new pastoral visit to Japan, during which he had many meetings with various local officials for the better organization of the Patriarchal Exarchate.

On Sunday, he celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Tokyo, assisted by Rev. Fr. Paul Koroluk, at St. Alban’s Anglican Church. Japanese, Ukrainian, Russian, Greek, and American faithful and catechumens participated.

At the reception that followed in the Church Hall, communication between the clergy and laity was truly a great blessing, in which it was confirmed, once again, that the Orthodox Church unites those from different ethnic, cultural, and social backgrounds into one family, one body, the Body of Christ.

Particularly interesting was the presence of Japanese university students with whom the Metropolitan had a long conversation and communication.
